Defensively, except yesterday, it's a team that hardly suffers. He's talking about the ICU, about a crisis, about whether he goes up to the ward, whether— I told you they could win, huh?

The one they lose at the Metro— the one they lose at the Metropolitano, the one they lose at the Metropolitano, we all know why they lose it.

And the one they lose against Betis is because Mbappé has the worst day of his career. Madrid, Madrid play well on the day of the Betis match.

For me, they played their worst 60 minutes of the season. Yesterday, yes, but we're making a wholesale condemnation of Madrid's entire season that isn't real. They have improved under Mourinho.

At the Metropolitano, in the first half, they don't even have a shot on target. Against Betis, their first shot on target is the goal, the goal. Defensively, it's a different team.

[0:59](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/1IDJ3OUTx8cJ/en/real-madrid-debate-defensive-improvement-and-criticism-of-vin%C3%ADcius-and-mbapp%C3%A9?t=59) Vinicius and Mbappé are still following pretty much last season's plan, yes.

But come on, saying that, throwing the final shovelful of dirt onto Madrid's coffin.
