[0:03](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/2OJHx4XD5JJG/en/hair-salon-vandalized-and-looted-after-protests?t=3) So, I’ll let you see for yourselves. I opened the salon in mid-July.

[0:12](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/2OJHx4XD5JJG/en/hair-salon-vandalized-and-looted-after-protests?t=12) Here’s all the work we’ve done. We bust our asses for all this.

[0:17](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/2OJHx4XD5JJG/en/hair-salon-vandalized-and-looted-after-protests?t=17) There, I’m going to turn on the light. So, it’s simple: they smashed everything, they stole all the equipment. I have a hairdresser who works with me, he has no equipment left. Nothing. Even the supplies, our shampoos, are gone. They even took the money that was in the cash register.

[0:40](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/2OJHx4XD5JJG/en/hair-salon-vandalized-and-looted-after-protests?t=40) We’re devastated. Honestly, we’re devastated. We opened in mid-July.

[0:44](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/2OJHx4XD5JJG/en/hair-salon-vandalized-and-looted-after-protests?t=44) It’s unfair and it’s disgusting because we don’t deserve this, firstly, and, uh, we work honestly. There are only two hairdressers here.

[0:54](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/2OJHx4XD5JJG/en/hair-salon-vandalized-and-looted-after-protests?t=54) We both had our, our equipment stolen. It’s going to be hard to bounce back. Honestly, it’s not like me, but if we could get a little help from your side, we'd really appreciate it.

[1:04](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/2OJHx4XD5JJG/en/hair-salon-vandalized-and-looted-after-protests?t=64) Uh, I know it's not your fault, but, you know, if we can help each other, gladly.

[1:10](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/2OJHx4XD5JJG/en/hair-salon-vandalized-and-looted-after-protests?t=70) As soon as it's working again, come by, I'll gladly treat you to some champagne, really, with pleasure.

[1:16](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/2OJHx4XD5JJG/en/hair-salon-vandalized-and-looted-after-protests?t=76) And, uh, in the meantime, we'll try to bounce back
