[0:00](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/3IKNVAqbi5wn/en/cristiano-ronaldo-responds-to-criticism-after-portugal-match) Yesterday Lionel Messi scored two goals, Mbappé, no, Haaland, and you keep showing that you are top-tier.

[0:05](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/3IKNVAqbi5wn/en/cristiano-ronaldo-responds-to-criticism-after-portugal-match?t=5) I wanted to ask you, what was done in this match that wasn't done in the previous one? What changed?

[0:11](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/3IKNVAqbi5wn/en/cristiano-ronaldo-responds-to-criticism-after-portugal-match?t=11) We improved. That's life. There are challenges we face during matches, during life, and the main goal is always to improve.

[0:20](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/3IKNVAqbi5wn/en/cristiano-ronaldo-responds-to-criticism-after-portugal-match?t=20) That's what we did. I can tell you it was a very tough week, a difficult week.

[0:24](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/3IKNVAqbi5wn/en/cristiano-ronaldo-responds-to-criticism-after-portugal-match?t=24) A week where public opinion was very harsh on us, all the players, especially on me, on the coach.

[0:32](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/3IKNVAqbi5wn/en/cristiano-ronaldo-responds-to-criticism-after-portugal-match?t=32) But it's always like that, it's fine, because as you can imagine, it's already been 23 years in this profession, and whenever things go well, Cristiano is back. When they go badly, he's retired, he's old, it will always be like that.

[0:46](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/3IKNVAqbi5wn/en/cristiano-ronaldo-responds-to-criticism-after-portugal-match?t=46) Cristiano, here is Edgar Rosada, TNT Sports Mexico.

[0:50](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/3IKNVAqbi5wn/en/cristiano-ronaldo-responds-to-criticism-after-portugal-match?t=50) Yesterday Lionel Messi scored two goals, Mbappé, no, Haaland, and you keep showing that you are A-class.

[0:57](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/3IKNVAqbi5wn/en/cristiano-ronaldo-responds-to-criticism-after-portugal-match?t=57) It depends on the question, otherwise, I won't answer you.

[1:00](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/3IKNVAqbi5wn/en/cristiano-ronaldo-responds-to-criticism-after-portugal-match?t=60) This is a Cup of Stars, unlike others. Messi, Mbappé, Haaland showed up, and as you said, Cristiano was missing.

[1:12](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/3IKNVAqbi5wn/en/cristiano-ronaldo-responds-to-criticism-after-portugal-match?t=72) Today Cristiano showed that he arrived, that Portugal came, and Cristiano arrived today.

[1:16](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/3IKNVAqbi5wn/en/cristiano-ronaldo-responds-to-criticism-after-portugal-match?t=76) He always shows up.
