[0:00](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder) The sun is shining, temperatures are rising, and let's be honest, these hot summer days can really be a test for us as hijabis.

[0:09](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=9) You feel the heat under your underscarf, the fabric sticks to your skin, and maybe you look around and think, everyone is dressed so light and airy, why is it so hard for me?

[0:20](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=20) Yes, if that thought crosses your mind, stop right there and listen to me very carefully.

[0:25](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=25) This video is your reminder that not a single drop of sweat you shed right now goes unnoticed by Allah.

[0:34](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=34) Every time you step out the door with your hijab, while it's 30 to 40 degrees outside, you consciously choose the pleasure of your Creator over your own comfort.

[0:45](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=45) That is no ordinary deed, that is pure worship. It is a living jihad against your own nafs.

[0:51](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=51) Yes, our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, taught us that the reward of a deed becomes greater as the effort or sacrifice is greater.

[1:01](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=61) So yes, every second that you brave the heat for the sake of Allah, you are accumulating hasanat.

[1:07](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=67) Your hijab is not a burden in this heat, it is a shield. It protects you in this life and, Inshallah, it will be a shade for you on the day when there will be no shade except His.

[1:19](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=79) So my dear sister, when you start to sweat and you are having a hard time, just take a step back.

[1:26](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=86) Breathe in and say Alhamdulillah, remind yourself of what you are doing it for.

[1:32](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=92) The heat of this world is temporary, but the reward in the hereafter is eternal.

[1:38](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=98) Stay strong, be proud of yourself, as you certainly should be, and know that Allah sees your sincerity.

[1:44](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=104) Share this reminder quickly with a sister who could use some motivation today.

[1:48](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/7MNA5Ijy4x47/en/wearing-hijab-in-the-summer-heat-an-islamic-reminder?t=108) May Allah reward your steadfastness.
