[0:01](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=1) Sir, for me, I was saying this to sir too.

[0:05](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=5) You are my biggest, biggest idol, sir. And You called me like this and appreciated me.

[0:14](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=14) I feel very, very, very proud.

[0:18](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=18) I in that moment, sir. I, I was fighting for my life.

[0:27](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=27) But there was a moment when I realized that if I didn't do something because I had fallen. I had suffered so many injuries that I had gone down. And at that time, I said, if I don't get up… And I've been flying aircraft at Air India for 17 years. I've been a captain for the past 11 years.

[0:45](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=45) and even with my eyes closed, I know what's happening in an aircraft.

[0:51](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=51) When I was down, I… I could feel that the aircraft was going down.

[0:58](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=58) And I knew perfectly well that if Smith made one last push,

[1:02](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=62) (Not translated) कर ले

[1:04](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=64) the door was right there. And even then, I was still getting beaten.

[1:10](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=70) I just opened that, sir. The rest later.

[1:13](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=73) And everyone else had an equal part in it.

[1:21](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=81) But I was deliberately telling everyone that I was doing it according to my own life.

[1:25](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=85) But at the same time, I also knew that I couldn't defeat them all.

[1:29](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=89) (Not translated) मत दे सकता।

[1:32](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=92) After that, people told me here too, in Saudi as well, that here, I couldn't get better care or better medical attention than this.

[1:49](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=109) And I, sir, I'm just focused on positivity. Whenever I feel afraid, only one thing comes to mind. I only recite the Hanuman Chalisa.

[2:01](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=121) Even at that time, I was only reciting the Hanuman Chalisa, and I know that God alone will save me.

[2:09](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=129) Then I got a call from you. I feel very, very proud of myself now. I hadn't felt that until now.

[2:18](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/ELRMZ6GTgdUt/en/air-india-pilot-recounts-fighting-for-his-life-and-reciting-hanuman-chalisa?t=138) I do now, sir. Sorry for crying in front of you, sir.
