[0:03](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=3) I can. Is he the second greatest in history?

[0:05](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=5) For me, yes. For me, yes. He surpassed Maradona, surpassed everyone for you?

[0:08](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=8) For me, yes, for me, yes, today. Man, I...

[0:10](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=10) For you, Bebeto? Oh, man, I... Maradona too...

[0:15](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=15) It's hard, right? It really is, yeah... I don't think so, I don't think so.

[0:20](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=20) I think Maradona was more of an artist. Yeah, that's it.

[0:23](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=23) He's of the people, right? But... Messi is more of a player to get the job done.

[0:29](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=29) For you, is he the second greatest in history?

[0:32](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=32) It's hard to say, but it's hard, man. Imagine if some Argentine...

[0:36](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=36) After I invented it, right? Winning is good, but beating Argentina is much better, when I go to broadcast at La Bombonera, they curse at me, the whole stadium.

[0:42](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=42) It's a party. I'm not getting involved in their fight, let them work it out.

[0:47](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=47) Is he the greatest, is he the second greatest?

[0:49](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=49) I also have that doubt about them, and Maradona.

[0:51](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=51) I played against Maradona, he was spectacular.

[0:53](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=53) Messi too. I think there's nothing like them in your generation.

[0:55](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=55) And they are different things, right? When you talk about Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi.

[0:58](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=58) I always say, Messi is a gift from God. Cristiano Ronaldo...

[1:02](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=62) I tell my son, never try to be Messi, because you won't be.

[1:05](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=65) Now, Cristiano Ronaldo, you can be like him in life.

[1:08](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=68) Because he is the ultimate example of a human being saying, I will conquer, but I need to work.

[1:13](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=73) So, to my family, when I say this, I mean Cristiano Ronaldo.

[1:17](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/FWdU661qlhTc/en/is-messi-greater-than-maradona-bebeto-and-guests-debate?t=77) Because Messi is beyond all that. Messi is a phenomenon.
