They didn't kill only Jews. They killed Christians, they killed Muslims, they killed Druze, they killed Bedouins. They, uh, kidnapped and killed foreign workers from 38 countries around the world. [0:19](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=19) They didn't ask them, or us, what our political views were before they murdered us. [0:23](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=23) And in the same way, we didn't ask these children what their political views were. [0:26](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=26) I'm telling you, I'm telling you, I salute you. [0:28](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=28) Well done, hero. You're an Israeli hero. Well done. [0:31](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=31) You're an Israeli hero. An Israeli hero. [0:34](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=34) I'm sure that, too, uh, your—your children at home know they have a heroic father besides all those one hundred twenty, uh, children, uh, whom you saved, uh, and who are your children, and that you're a hero to them for their whole lives. [0:45](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=45) I just want you to see the pictures from that morning, too, the pictures you took with the children inside the car you rescued. [0:53](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=53) They, uh, they're smiling, they're smiling in the selfie you take, too. [0:58](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=58) With them. These kids are smiling. They’re laughing because, like… [1:02](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=62) I think none of us really understood. Um, you know, I—I—I’ll share a moment with you when I got the location of a family in Kfar Aza, the first thing he did was, uh, “Look, they’re smiling.” You see? [1:17](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=77) Uh, the first thing he did— Benny Aharon, a hero of Israel. [1:20](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=80) Yes. Uh, the first thing he did was, uh, a member of Tzachi’s team, when he entered the safe room in Kfar Aza, he opened the door and laughed and said to them, “How do you know Lucy?” [1:33](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=93) And the first thing they said to him was, “Who’s Lucy? [1:35](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=95) What are you talking about?” We all came together for that same cause, and you’re a hero. Oz, bless you. [1:45](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=105) You’re a hero. You got up, and that day you didn’t think twice. You got up to save me. You got up to save us without thinking about who I am, who you are, and who these kids are. You’re a hero, and anyone who dares to smear you is the one who should put their head in the filth, because that’s where they belong. You—your place… [2:08](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=128) You deserve to be honored. We should all salute you. Bless you. [2:12](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=132) I love you, and it was important to me that you came today because at the cemetery You deserve the honor. You deserve it. [2:20](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=140) Every day, we should get up and tell people like you Thank you. [2:26](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=146) Not that you did anything wrong, God forbid. Bless you. I don't want you to cry. I don't want you to cry. [2:33](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=153) My darling, my beloved, you. I don't want you to cry. [2:38](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=158) You don't deserve to shed tears of sadness. You don't. [2:44](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=164) Thank you. Bless you. Thank you. [2:53](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=173) We, you know, are a nation of heroes. We lost so many dear people on this day and since then, we've lost so many more of our sons, heroic soldiers, men and women, who fought and died, you know, and every time people start talking, or slandering, or saying something about someone, listen, we're dishonoring the, the heroes [3:13](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=193) who fought for this country. We're a nation of heroes. [3:18](https://www.translate.mom/transcript/pjIZbH4CfCwN/en/tribute-to-a-man-who-saved-120-children-on-october-7?t=198) Right.
