Yemen Conflict Update and Military Movements

What is happening in Yemen is not quite what the screens are showing,

On one hand, the Yemeni forces in Sana'a do not release any military details

until they complete the mission, while on the other hand,

hostile media exploit this secrecy and pump out

exaggerated daily reports about any movement on

the ground. That is why we will give you some of a summary of what

is happening on the ground, especially on the Taiz fronts. Taiz

Governorate consists of 23 districts, 20 of which are considered

In recent days, namely Al-Wazi'iyah, Mawza, Dhubab, and Al-Makha

during the battles on the western coast, then moved on to take control of

important mountainous districts with strategic

dimensions, namely Jabal Habashi District,

Al-Shamayatayn District, Al-Ma'afer District, and the district of

Al-Mawaset, Al-Turbah City, Sami' District, and Al-Silw District.

al-Taiziyah and parts of Sala District inside

the city. While Yemeni forces fight fierce battles

to consolidate control over what remains of the governorate, Saudi Arabia

launched a coastal breakthrough operation with hundreds of

airstrikes, Apaches, and tens of thousands of soldiers aimed at

achieving a breakthrough to seize Bab al-Mandab, it

encountered a different reality that foiled the plan and led to a return

The forces returned whence they came, only remaining at Dhubab Airport, where they

are being besieged. Despite the media hype

by hostile parties attempting to prove the fall

of Mokha, Bab al-Mandab and Dhubab, the

citizens and various media outlets reported otherwise

That is borne out by dozens of videos and reports that

prove the Yemeni forces control the entire coast

the west. On the other side of Yemen, battles

do not stop in the east

across the country, in Al-Jawf and Marib, to ease pressure on the fronts

in the raging city of Taiz. Meanwhile, clashes are underway on

all these fronts, while Saudi warplanes launch hundreds of airstrikes

daily to support fighters in Taiz, Al-Hudaydah, Hajjah, Marib, and Al-Jawf,

as well as other civilian areas such as Sana’a, Saada, and Hajjah.

Meanwhile, Yemen’s missile forces are carrying out dual operations

intensively these days, some targeting Saudi troop build-ups on

the ground behind each front, while others are continuous, precise strikes

targeting deep inside Saudi Arabia, at oil facilities, airports,

and military bases, as ongoing responses to the aggressive airstrikes,

according to Brigadier Yahya Saree, spokesperson for

the Yemeni Armed Forces. At this pace, the Yemeni front intensifies

every day amid real advances by Sana’a, which

seeks to liberate all areas controlled by forces affiliated

with Saudi Arabia in past years, and also aims to lift

the comprehensive blockade on Yemen.
