Hello everyone, as everyone knows, a week ago I was injured in an explosive device blast in the Jenin refugee camp

I wanted to quickly update my family and all my loved ones on my condition

Thank God, the initial medical treatment was excellent, both the surgeries and the treatments in the field

They truly saved my life and saved many parts of my body

Regarding my current situation, in my rehabilitation

Regarding my eyes, in my left eye I sustained a blast injury

without, God forbid, any foreign objects, and it is really improving

In the first few days I couldn't see anything, and every day I see more and more

Now I can already see figures and objects

In my right eye I had four pieces of shrapnel, three and a half of which have already come out or been removed

and the other half is not dangerous, and they will remove it later, or it will come out on its own

On my left arm, the amputation is right at the wrist

Thank God, I have an elbow and I have movement

and they operated on me in a way that I will already be ready for a prosthesis

and they preserved my nerves, and it looks really good and aesthetic

and there is also a lot of arm left, so with the prosthesis there will eventually be a hand

On my right hand, I have two fingers that are injured but okay,

four fingers with full movement, thank God.

The thumb is half, it's amputated, but it's long enough

so that in the future I'll be able to hold things.

Right now it's also broken or fractured, but when the fracture heals, I'll be able to hold things.

Thank God, my right hand is my dominant hand.

And besides that, I don't have any internal injuries, or in my head, or anything like that.

And I'm really grateful to the Creator of the universe for the miracle that happened to me, and for the injury being truly not severe,

and for the rapid recovery I'm undergoing, and with the help here,

and the embrace of the medical staff at Sheba, and my amazing family,

and my wife, who is out of this world—she's amazing, taking care of both me and the girls,

and she's strong for all of us, and she's just a ten.

I really feel like I've been privileged to make, so to speak, a partial contribution

with great meaning to the people of Israel and the State of Israel,

and it's truly a privilege, and I plan to return to the army, and if I need to give a leg too, I'll give a leg.
