Israeli drone footage shows killing of four unarmed Palestinians in Gaza

It targets civilians from the air

Al Jazeera obtained these images

from a drone

that is Israeli, from a fleet

hovering over Gaza

since before the seventh of October

It is clearly apparent

from the images that these Palestinians

are not carrying weapons

and do not pose a threat

to anything or

anyone. A missile

targets the young men

and two of them

are martyred. It is not possible

to show the full footage

after the first missile falls

because of how horrific it is.

Two of them

one of the young men moving away

from where the missile landed.

When we return to the site

it appears in the images

that one of the young men is moving.

All this while the drone

has not left the area.

And all this

while the drone and its operator

and those who receive

the images it captures

in the air force command center

of the occupation are able

to see clearly

that the young men are unarmed.

And the drone remains in place.

It comes back to them

The occupation forces do not

miss their targets. And their target

in this war is civilians.

It comes back and opens

fire again.

It is the perfect crime,

or as close to it as can be.

If not for these images.

The drone killed the four young men.

And barely left a trace

that pointed to them

after their bodies were turned

into pieces.

Maybe there is someone searching for them.

A mother or a father.

Siblings and neighbors.

Maybe children and a wife.

Those who fired the missiles know

that they were displaced.

And now anyone watching these images knows

that Israel killed them.

They were civilians

searching for their homes.

And what remains of the memory

of the time before the genocide

committed by the occupation forces.

They remain alive for minutes

before the first missile is launched.

Who failed to kill the evidence
