Netanyahu. That's why he gathers around him people with no

independent political clout. The fact that Avigdor

Lieberman wants to pull a Bennett, and Winter's remarks that

everyone who was in office on October seventh must go, are clear evidence

that they want to undermine the Netanyahu

bloc as it stands, in order to put Lieberman in a position where he

can make far-reaching demands, such as becoming prime minister.

Since these two men have worked closely together for a long time

and trust each other, it's not inconceivable that Winter's

megalomania tells him that if Lieberman's demands are met and he becomes defense

minister, he'll be able to straighten out Israel's security, too.
