What are we to understand of the Nephilim now? When you have a person who we're calling a giant or a Nephilim, we're talking about sort of a fully demonized human. They're genetically different from people. There was this advanced civilization.
There was a flood that destroyed it. So in the pagan sources, that pre-flood world was this golden age of high technology. Technology in the ancient Near Eastern mind included magic. Magic was a sort of spiritual technology.
Losing that world was sort of this great tragedy. But everyone agreed it was a more advanced world than the world they lived in. Yes. Yes.
That there was knowledge there that had now been mostly lost. There's a text called the Book of the Giants that we found among the Dead Sea Scrolls. It includes a list of the giants, a list of the Nephilim. And Gilgamesh is one of the names.
Goliath is sort of one of the last stragglers. The one sin that can't be forgiven is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Christ was working miracles and teaching and healing. A certain group of his opponents accused him of being
demon-possessed. Correct. If you're not willing to accept and submit yourself to God and to his spirit and what he's doing in the world, you can't be forgiven.
You can't be healed.
