Everyone knows the power of Surah Al-Waqi'ah in changing the reality we live in.

Usually, we know that every human being is subjected to an event.

And we do not know that the Event will come on the Day of Resurrection.

But there are events that happen to a person in this life.

"When the Occurrence occurs, there is, at its occurrence, no denial."

For some people, Allah, Glory be to Him, said, "Abasing and exalting."

It will elevate some people, and others will be brought low by this event,

whether in this life or in the afterlife

that man will live on the Last Day.

And we know the power of Surah Al-Waqi'ah and its impact on sustenance.

Because man's sustenance is the true demand

for which this human came into this life,

in order to seek it from Allah, Glory be to Him.

"And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me."

"I do not want from them any provision,"

"nor do I want them to feed Me."

"Indeed, it is Allah who is the Provider, the firm possessor of strength."

That is why we have a problem,

not with Surah Al-Waqi'ah,

Surah Al-Waqi'ah gave this human being all the keys to sustenance

And Allah, Glory be to Him, made clear in Surah Al-Waqi'ah

what you need to do with yourself

so that sustenance begins to flow to this human being.

Because the greatest sustenance of all

is for Allah, Glory be to Him, to guide this human being to the true sustenance.

Meaning, your heart must open to the true sustenance.

And if this heart opens to the true sustenance,

Allah, Glory be to Him, begins to give you from these worldly provisions.

Because Allah, Glory be to Him, said:

"And another [favor] that you love: victory from Allah and an imminent conquest; and give good tidings to the believers."

That is why we must understand

what Allah, Glory be to Him, says in Surah Al-Waqi'ah.

He focuses...

Allah, Glory be to Him, in Surah Al-Waqi'ah,

focuses on the events that will happen to this human being on the Last Day.

Meaning, He is telling you, "O so-and-so, you must work for the Hereafter."

Allah, Glory be to Him, says:

"And the forerunners, the forerunners..."

While you are asleep and not moving,

and in your life, you have not strived.

has not entered this race,

the race of the Hereafter.

And the person who enters the race of the Hereafter

immediately enters the race of this world,

because the Hereafter pulls a person.

It makes a person view this life of the Hereafter

as one of the greatest values of all,

which pulls the mind toward the grand values

that a person must live by in this life.

"When the Occurrence occurs, there is, at its occurrence, no denial."

That is why Allah, Glorified and Exalted, said:

"And the forerunners, the forerunners—"

"Those are the ones brought near."

Imagine if you became one of those brought near.

What would Allah, Glorified and Exalted, do in your life?

What could Allah, Glorified and Exalted, guide you to?

What could Allah, Glorified and Exalted, honor you with?

What divine gifts would come to you,

just by becoming one of those brought near?

You know that the highest Quranic rank,

Allah, Glorified and Exalted, named 'those brought near.'

Allah is the One Who will bring you near,

beyond the righteous, the doers of good, and the believers.

"Those brought near" means Allah is the One Who brings you near.

And this person has the quality of being a forerunner.

"Those are the ones brought near, in the Gardens of Pleasure."

A multitude of those of old, and a few of those of later times

So why, O God, are You telling me what happens in the Hereafter?

You must understand.

You must grasp the link,

the connection.

Why is God telling me what happens in the Hereafter?

So that you can grasp it,

so that you can live the real life.

So God pulls down and subdues this unreal life we are living for you.

Do you understand?

That is why God, Glory be to Him, then continued the verses,

so that man begins... "only the saying of: Peace, peace."

There must be peace in your life.

You must live in peace in your life.

Then God, Glory be to Him, said:

And the companions of the right—what are the companions of the right?

They will be among thornless lote trees,

and layered banana trees,

and extended shade,

and poured-out water.

You must imagine.

You must grasp and imagine.

Then God, Glory be to Him, says:

And the companions of the left—what are the companions of the left?

They will be in scorching wind and scalding water,

and a shade of black smoke,

neither cool nor pleasant.

Indeed, they were before that indulged in luxury.

You must understand that this is a life you are heading towards.

So if you are not prepared for this real life...

How can you ask Allah, Glory be to Him, to sustain you in this

fleeting life with a drop from the ocean you are heading towards?

Pay attention, wake up!

How do you expect Surah Al-Baqarah

to start giving you the treasures it holds

when you are reading it without any feeling?

Allah, Glory be to Him, says:

Is it you who produced its tree,

or are We the producer?

Everything in this life, Allah, Glory be to Him, is the doer of it.

Is it you who brought it down from the rain clouds,

or are We the ones who send it down?

Do you think the company is the one giving you your salary?

Do you think the state is the one providing for you?

Do you think the gifts you receive from creation

are separate from the Creator?

Is it you who brought it down from the rain clouds,

Is it you who produced its tree,

or are We the producer?

Allah clarifies the signs,

then He said, "Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an"

"in a Register well-protected;"

"none can touch it except the purified."

You come here asking

for reality to work in your favor,

while your heart is not pure.

You have resentment, you have envy,

you have hatred, you are unable to forgive,

you have hatred like a fire in your heart

over events that happened in your life,

waiting for reward and gratitude from them.

And Allah, Glory be to Him, the Almighty, gives you and gives you

This means you are not doing this for Allah

You are waiting for gratitude

and waiting for a reward from them

from the one you gave to, who then turned against you in your life

Every human being in this life can turn against you

They will never give you anything like the gifts that will come from Allah

Allah, Glory be to Him, the Almighty, says

None touch it except the purified

A revelation from the Lord of the worlds

Open your eyes to the Beautiful Names of Allah

The Lord of the worlds

Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth

and the Lord of creation, and the Lord of the worlds

The Lord of the world of the jinn

Who gave to the jinn and gave to the angels

and gave to all these creatures

He gave to all these creatures

Can He not nurture you?

Can He not…

But your heart is here

This divine treasure that Allah, Glory be to Him, the Almighty, gave you

You are not submitting to Allah

You must pay attention

What does Allah, Glory be to Him, the Almighty, say?

A revelation from the Lord of the worlds

That is why

when you read Surah Al-Waqi'ah

you read it while being present

you are aware of the meanings

the meanings of this Surah

The Surah is drawing your attention to the Hereafter

The Surah is telling you

My friend, your sustenance will come to you

but you are blinded

to real life.

Open your eyes to real life

and see how goodness will come to you.

This is one of the most powerful secrets

that God, Glory be to Him, has enclosed

in Surah Al-Waqi'ah.

You don't just read it ten or twenty times

without truly feeling

what is inside, do you understand?
