We have followed the path of God, glorified and exalted be He.

And in what have we followed it? In our work.

I hope that this path we have followed in our work will be in all our endeavors.

And that God, glorified and exalted be He,

will grant success to everyone.

For God, glorified and exalted be He, is the One

who brought this human being into existence on this earth. And that God,

glorified and exalted be He, made us His successors on earth.

Yet we have become the ones who ruin,

instead of building and developing.

And that God, glorified and exalted be He, when He sent the messengers,

always reforms the human being so that he may build up the earth. Here in Sharjah,

we are committed,

first and foremost,

first to our noble religion.

And we are also committed

to our Arab identity. And we are also committed

to our customs and traditions. We do not change our tongue,

and we do not change our nature.

We must be honest with ourselves, honest with our

basic makeup.
