Spiritual Guidance and Life Goals

Since I was very young, I've been blessed to see all three Acharyas, which is a great

fortune.

This is one of the greatest things

in my life, a great blessing from God.

The first speaker said that if devotion to God and patriotism are to go together,

the Elder said

something that was an instruction to my father.

That is, if you walk facing the sun,

the shadow follows behind you, even if you don't want it to.

But if you go chasing your shadow, you'll get neither the sun nor the shadow.

Likewise, if in life you pursue a good

goal,

money, status, and fame will all follow. Even if you don't want them, they'll follow.

But if we go after something, determined to attain it,

we'll lose that worthy goal too. And we won't attain this either.

So, all children...

We must have devotion to our guru.

We must have devotion to God.

We must serve our country. We must serve our nation.

With such a

primary objective.

That's why, as the saying goes, what doesn't develop at five won't develop at fifty.

From a young age,

we must prepare ourselves.

We must work in our own country.

A saying from the Bhagavata: Only by a guru's grace

can one attain complete peace. By the guru's grace, may we

all, and the whole world, be well. What is it today?

After my father received his PhD, he apparently showed it to my grandmother.

She said, "Let that be, dear."

You must come to the mutt and receive the Shastra Ratna. Only then will I be happy," she said.

Today, from Periyava's own hands,

receiving this honor is a great, great blessing, I
