Opportunities in Saudi Tech Sector

LEAP is an annual event for us in tech, an opportunity to see the developments that

have taken place in the ecosystem. Saudi Arabia is experiencing great prosperity today

in the tech sector, not only locally but also at the

international level, thanks to Vision 2030

and the growth that is taking place. As investors in the sector, especially startups,

it matters to us to take the pulse, see what new technologies,

the new founders who are coming in

the international expansion enjoyed by the Saudi ecosystem, and

LEAP represents this great opportunity for us.

So how do you look for opportunities? How do you seize opportunities

at LEAP?

LEAP is very well organized today

and clearly structured for us, so we see

the different business categories available. Some serve the government sector,

some serve the consumer sector, and some serve the business sector

from local and international companies. Every institution, every company

and every team brings its best, the new things, the revolutions that

We truly consider it revolutionary and present it to everyone.

And wait for the available collaboration opportunities.

Our role as investors at Sukna Ventures is to look for a partner

suitable for these founders, especially in the early stages, and begin the journey with them

early on, benefiting from the growth in the Saudi market

and taking them on this journey all the way to international expansion, God willing.

God willing. How do you see the opportunity today for young men and women in

the Kingdom to invest at an exhibition like this

in their projects and innovations at the technological level

or also in artificial intelligence and space?

Excellent. One of the success stories we got involved with early on

was Mozn, an artificial intelligence company.

We joined them when they were still young and in the early days

of artificial intelligence technology. Two weeks ago, they announced a cooperation agreement

with HUMAIN, as well as an investment from HUMAIN.

So this has validated our vision, and we now see it in

our investment portfolio, that the opportunities available today for young men and women are different

Both in quality and quantity compared to what was available in previous years.

Today is the real window of opportunity, the golden window for anyone who wants to

enter the tech sector.
