Houthi Missile Attack on Mecca

Mecca, you idiot. Today, the Houthi rats fired two missiles

ballistic missiles.

One at Mecca and one at Medina. The two holiest places on Earth.

Our defenses intercepted them overhead. The debris fell east of Mecca, in Wadi Al-Mughammis.

Only about 20 kilometers from the Haram. So what's the story of Al-Mughammis?

Go back with me over 1,400 years. The Year of the Elephant.

Abraha the Abyssinian came from Yemen with a huge army, and an elephant to destroy

the Kaaba. Where did Abraha's army camp? In this very valley. Al-Mughammis.

Every time they turned the elephant toward Mecca, it knelt down. They changed its direction,

it walked. They turned it back toward Mecca, it refused. Then flocks of

birds pelted them with stones of baked clay, and the army perished in the same place.

And today, a missile comes from Yemen toward Mecca. The first pieces of debris

fall, fall in the same valley. Even Abdul Muttalib's camels, the Prophet's grandfather,

were taken by the army. He went to ask for his camels. Abraha was surprised.

You ask for your camels and leave the Kaaba? He said, "I am the owner of the camels,

and the House has a Lord to protect it." The One who protected it from Abraha and the elephant protected it

Today, it’s Houthi missiles. Abraha didn’t make it, and neither will the Houthi

make it.
