Discussion on England's Football Expectations

I can understand it to a point because you guys invented the game.

So there is always an expectation of you kind of own it.

And it should be a thing that you should be winning again.

That's why it's coming home, because you guys invented it.

The Brazilians mastered it.

You have to give them that.

They have five stars for a reason.

But Zlatan made a great point here.

You had outstanding coaches that coached England.

Still couldn't deliver.

You had the so-called golden generation.

Only reached the quarters.

That's about it.

That new generation makes you believe it even more

because they lost two finals.

Yes, I know they were Euros.

They went to a semifinal.

You had guys that went to that semifinal.

But how many teams can win the World Cup?

How many teams did repeat?

It's not an easy one, and so the thing that you have in England every time is that whenever you wear that jersey, it's an heavy one.

There's only one star there, but it's an heavy one, and the level of expectation sometimes doesn't really match where the team is.

That's fair. 60-year wait, what do you make of the expectations?

He's laughing.

He's laughing.

No, he's not.

Your shoulders were moving alone.
