Discussion on Kindness in Islam

They treated us very well, very kindly.

They honored us, gave us water and bread.

They told us that their faith, Islam, urges them

to treat people kindly. They even recited some verses from the Quran to us.

They said, in His clear revelation, “In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

“And they give food, despite loving it, to the needy and the orphan

and the captive, saying, ‘We feed you only for the sake of God. We seek from you no reward

nor thanks.’” They recited these verses to us and said, “You are

among your mujahideen brothers.

Don’t worry. Rest assured.”
