Discussion on Strategic Leadership in Egypt

And allow me to tell you, perhaps our presence here is an opportunity

to talk about why the state's strategic leadership is here?

Because once upon a time, the Supreme Constitutional Court was being besieged.

And once upon a time, the Cabinet…

the Cabinet was being besieged.

And once upon a time,

they were threatening the Ministry of Defense.

And once upon a time, they were besieging Media Production City.

So that the crisis, whatever the crisis may be, would be managed…

Whatever the crisis may be. Managed under pressure.

Very, very great pressure, and perhaps fear as well.

And therefore, the decisions made would be decisions that, you know…

could sometimes lead to great harm or great ruin for our country, Egypt.

It was necessary for the state to move out of the capital.

And so that this would not happen again— I am speaking with complete frankness here.

The state moves out of the capital so this is not repeated, the evil ones…

and the terrorists will

not stop. And…

God helps us, but we must also take the necessary measures.

Therefore, the state must never cease to exist again,

and the parliament must not be there.

And the Cabinet is no longer there.

And the Ministry of Defense remains there as it was before. No, that is over.

No one can ever do that in Egypt again.
