My companions on the path, everyone who knew me and whom I knew,

hoping that God will gather us in the highest Paradise with the prophets,

the truthful, the martyrs,

and what excellent companions they are First,

strive to make your intention sincere in every matter and make

sure to follow the paths of guidance and goodness force yourselves

to give and be generous accompany others with

kindness and speak with benevolence smile at those you meet,

joke with respect forgive those who err,

and be firm with those who transgress and deny indulging too much in the

permissible deadens the passion for worship the light on your faces is sustained by

congregational prayer people's love for you stems from God's love,

and God's love stems from His love of meeting you do not conceal knowledge,

for whoever conceals it has sinned your attachment to humans hinders

your progress towards God so stay close to those who

help you reform and purify your hearts indeed,

your families have great favor over you,

so strive for their satisfaction and obey their command Live for Allah,

love for Allah, fight in the cause of Allah,

speak softly and work in silence, sleep with a pure heart, carrying a light burden,

prepared for the meeting.

Hold your tongues from speaking of the scholars and the mujahideen.

Avoid backbiting and gossip, and walk by the Quran.

Equip yourselves with the rifle of fasting and the bullets of supplication.

Clamor with night prayers and secret charity.

Veil yourselves in the darkness of dawn, drink from the water of piety,

and cover yourselves with remembrance and seeking forgiveness.

Ask Allah of His bounty; if it is victory, then it is a favor from Allah,

and if it is martyrdom, indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their

lives and their properties[ in exchange] for that they will have Paradise.

They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed.

[ It is] a true promise binding upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Quran.

And who is truer to his covenant than Allah?

So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted.

And it is that which is the great attainment.
