Celebration of Serbian Tradition Amidst Tensions

Our people celebrated their patron saint's day today

St. Petka all across Serbia.

Some inhumans

broke into their celebrations

from Vrbas to Gornji Milanovac. And those inhumans

imagined they had the right, for the first time since

1945, to commit such a crime in our country.

To commit such a crime.

Not only do they have no right, not only are they cowardly, not

human, as we can see,

but I ask those who can't handle victory,

let alone defeat,

whether they will do something about it

or not?

If not,

we will protect ourselves

and look after ourselves.

But you will never take away our patron saint's day.

We will celebrate our patron saint's day.

It is a Serbian custom. It is Serbian faith,

Serbian tradition, and it's all we have.

You have taken so much from us.

You tried to destroy families,

the state,

and taking our patron saint's day too would be too much.

We will preserve it all, reclaim what has been lost.

And people, heads up,

heads up.

We're strong enough, wise enough and smart enough

to defeat those who don't even know

how to enjoy their own victory,

but think enjoyment means

physically harming someone else and

carrying out revolutionary terror.

That never lasted long.
