Informed Consent and Vaccine Mandates
Good morning.
Hello, good morning. My name's Dr. Jessica Peatross.
I'm a former board-certified medical doctor in internal medicine, turned
root cause physician that now gets patients off of medication
rather than put them
on. And I now reverse things I was told in my regular medical career that
never could be reversed. I'm here because I want to talk with you
guys about informed consent and how making mandates actually,
um, erodes that. I'm not here to argue against vaccines.
I'm here to argue for something every physician in this room was trained to
protect, which is informed per-- consent.
And we all know when you don't give the patient the vaccine man-- or label
in-insert, then you don't give them informed consent.
You tell them they're safe and effective every time, and that's it,
and that's
simply not true. So informed consent means a patient or,
or a parent hears the benefits, hears the risk, asks the
questions, and then makes the decision.
A mandate stops and removes that last step.
And when we remove the decision, we stop practicing medicine with people,
and we
start practicing it on them. You see, previously in a past life,
I worked in California when SB two seven six was passed.
It was a witch hunt for us doctors. I did do vaccine exemptions at the time.
You know what they did, they subpoenaed m--
patients' medical records without their
permission, opened them up under the guise of safety
to check legimi-legitimacy of
the vaccine exemption. They also published all the unvaccinated
children's
names in the unified-- San Diego Unified School System next to
the doctor that
gave the exemption. Okay? So that's what mandates get you.
All right? So if that's what you're looking for,
that's what will happen.
California's the trailblazer in this.
So I hope everyone knows what they're getting into when they do this because
instead of taking their punishment of ninety hours of re-education, three
years of probation, and a stipulated license because it nulls
all other vaccine
exemptions when they get one doctor in trouble and disciplined, I surrendered my
medical license willingly because I don't kiss the ring of a corrupt
institution.
I urge you to please keep mandates out of this.
We are still allowing me-- the vaccines. They're still available.
Keep the data transparent, protect meaningful exemptions,
and leave the final
decision where it belongs, between a patient, their family,
and the physician.
Respecting choice isn't anti-medicine. It's the heart of it, my friends.
Thank you.
Thank you.
