We are on Passover eve

at the Egyptian border, and the verse says:“ These are the names of the children of

Israel who are coming to Egypt( Mitzrayma).” The Holy One, blessed be He, changed

the name from Mitzrayim to Mitzrayma.

Mitzrayim— an open mem at the start,

a closed mem at the end,

you cannot get out.

Whoever goes in

cannot get out.

The Holy One,

blessed be He,

says“ Mitzrayma.”

Not only does

He change the mem to an open mem, He also puts the letter hei at the end,

which has two openings there.

He is coming to tell you that if you take the hei, which is the Name,

and put it into your narrow place,

you open it up,

all the gates open

up for you.

With God’s help,

just as the Holy One, blessed be He,

added the letter hei in“ Mitzrayma” 3,335 years ago,

so it will be done for

us as well,

that all our hostages will return to their homes safe and sound,

together with

the soldiers,

and we will merit a kosher and happy Passover,

amen and amen. Amen.
