do neurodesenvolvimento.

conversa estranha.

revisa tantos estudos diferentes.

Hey everybody, Dr. Dave Marquis here, and I wanted to talk to you about the neurodevelopmental side. There's this whole concept of what is inflaming our kids' brains. And recently, there was a retrospective report done by Dr. McCullough, who is one of the most published researchers, literally, on the globe, mostly in cardiology fields.

In the last five years, he's really gotten into a lot of things relative to immune dysfunction, specifically around COVID. But this report that he put together, he titled Determinants of Autism Spectrum Disorder. And he put together a pretty cool graphical. And when you look at that, you'll notice that there's this circle around the image of a

child with a brain. And it's listing off all the different things that as they went through over 300 different studies that they found to be potentially causally associated with the development of autism. And when you throw that concept out that, hey, you know what, there's X, Y, Z that seems

to be associated with autism, sometimes you get a lot of resistance. People want to hang different hats on cause and effect, and it starts to become this weird conversation. And I'd like to just get away from anything weird in that realm and just stick to facts. And so the facts as I have observed it is in my lifetime, and I've lived on the planet

for just under 60 years. When I was a kid, I didn't have any kids with autism that were recognized in any of my grade school classes. I can't say that of my own children. And when we look at statistical averages across the country, in my lifetime, the numbers have

gone from 1 in 200 when I was a kid to now 1 in 31 nationwide and in the state of California in some regions, it's 1 in 12 and a half. And so, when you look at that increase in frequency in such a short time period, it's not that we're diagnosing it better. Go to a classroom and sit down and observe how many special need kids we have today.

Look at the profession of school clinical psychology and see how many IEPs they're needing to write to provide services for these kids with special needs. There literally are more today than there were 40, 50 years ago when I was in school. And so something different has changed. And so when I look at this report, I'm like, yeah, I see this clinically that there's

something changing in our environment that is leading to more presentation of this neurological disorder. Now, when you look at that graph, it does show that over half of the burden when they looked at the research was associated with the introduction of vaccines. And so that's where that conversation comes from.

Whether you like the concept or not, there was a causal association observed when you review that many different studies. Now, the thing that I see in that is that almost every one of the components of a determinants of autism in this review are things that can inflame the nervous system. And there's a lot of them.

And genetically, you and I, we come to planet Earth with variable capacity to detoxify and eliminate the things that we're exposed to. And when that exposure occurs, if it happens at an early developmental stage, it stands to reason that there's going to be some type of inflammatory response.
