Investigation into Ankita Bhandari Case

Who are these people who, after this man named Dushyant Gautam was made Governor of Sikkim,

staged a sit-in outside India Gate, and whom Delhi Police, at four in the morning,

dragged away from there, after which these people were forced, at a press conference,

to break down sobbing. They are the people who were seeking justice for their only daughter, Ankita Bhandari.

But what kind of justice, and who is this Ankita Bhandari?

Ankita Bhandari, a girl from Uttarakhand who passed her 12th grade with 88 percent, an intelligent girl, had to leave her hotel management

studies unfinished because during the COVID period, her father lost his job

and he did not even have 40,000 rupees to pay her fees. Their financial hardship left her so helpless

that, about ten to 12 kilometres from Rishikesh, amid the forests, at a place owned by a former BJP minister

Even on the strange condition that she live and work at Vinod Arya's luxury resort, Vantara,

she agrees to work as a receptionist. On her very first day, even after a guest

inappropriately clings to her

and grabs her, she still cannot

quit that job.

When the resort owner demands that she provide special service to some guests,

she flatly rejects it, but decides to remain in that job until she finds another

job.

Some time later, the hotel's owner and some of his staff put pressure on Ankita

to

continuously provide special service to some guests. She is mistreated,

but

when she decides to leave the hotel, they apologize and persuade her to stay.

Then, under the pretext of taking her out, they coax her into going with them, and her

days later, Ankita's body is recovered from a nearby barrage. When this case

on September 18, 2022, this

murder case received a court verdict on May 30, 2025, in which former BJP leader

and resort owner Vinod Arya's son, Pulkit Arya, and his two employees, Saurav

Bhaskar and Ankit Gupta had been sentenced to life imprisonment, but no mention of that VIP

was made, for whom, in the name of providing special services, Ankita

was being harassed. But

now, at the end of December, an actress claiming to be a BJP MLA's wife comes forward on social media

and shares an audio clip of herself and that MLA, in which that VIP is clearly

mentioned, who is counted among the top leaders of the Uttarakhand BJP

and is said to be close to the BJP's

top leadership. Now, Ankita's parents say that at least

until the CBI investigation is complete, Dushyant Gautam should not be made Governor, so that

he

does not receive the protection of a constitutional post like Governor. What do you think, is Dushyant Gautam

being made Governor of Sikkim support or an experiment?
