Clarification on Argentina Interview Remarks

Hello, because of what is happening,

I want to share this video to clarify what

I said in the interview and what I have never said and would never say.

In the interview with Ceteo, I said it was unfair, that I found it unfair,

that the Argentine national team was being judged by the

attitudes of the president of Argentina, Milei,

since Milei does not represent by any means the vast majority of Argentines.

I also said that I find it unfair that because of the

attitudes of Milei and the unconditional support

and sometimes very proud, for someone who has been proven to be a war criminal,

Netanyahu, would make many people support the opposing team,

regardless of the indisputable quality

of Argentine football, which is also very unfair. That is what I said.

What I have never said and would never say is whether Argentina is a xenophobic or racist country

or whatever, or whatever the hell, that has never come out of my mouth and never will,

because for Argentina I have nothing but a lot of affection, a lot of respect,

a lot of gratitude and a lot of

admiration in the cultural aspect,

in the cinematographic, acting aspect, in the social aspect,

in the political aspect and in the personal aspect.

In the political aspect, for example,

Argentina is an inspiration for many

people in my life,

victims of the military dictatorship, a process of reparation that,

for example, in my country has not been done, unfortunately,

and of course Argentina in that sense,

as well as in many others, is an inspiration and a reference.

And on a personal level,

I would need a lot of time to tell you about the many

important people in my life of Argentine origin,

who live there or also live in Spain, who mean so much to me on all

levels,

creative, artistic, personal,

intellectual, emotional, people I admire, respect, and love very much.

So it is important to me to make all of this clear,

and especially those things that I have never said and would never say,

out of the respect and affection I have for the Argentine people.
