The increasing information about the presence of elements from the Iranian

Revolutionary Guard

on Lebanese territory and their involvement in military and security activities,

and in order to safeguard the sovereignty of the state and preserve the country’s

security and ensure public order and the safety of citizens,

and in affirmation of extending the authority of the state by its own forces over

all Lebanese territory and confining to the legitimate authorities

alone this weapon, and after deliberation, the Council of Ministers

decided to request that the ministries and administrations concerned,

especially the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Interior and

Municipalities and all military and security agencies,

give the appropriate guidance and instructions to verify the presence

of elements of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in Lebanon and to intervene firmly

and immediately to prevent any activity or security or military action they might

undertake from Lebanese territory,

whatever their status or the cover under which they operate,

and to detain them under the supervision of the competent judiciary in preparation

for their deportation.
