If I were to recall some of my personal experiences

My dear wife was with me throughout this difficult period we went through

Maybe we got married under unusual circumstances in 2012

And it was difficult for me to reveal much about my work

So she had limited information about my work situation

And she would discover all of that as the work progressed

But she endured all the circumstances

She endured the shelling with me; she endured migration and displacement with me

I think we moved house 49 times over the past period

An average of one house every three months

You know, this is difficult for a woman

She takes her seedlings with her, and bears all the difficult circumstances we went through

So we became like nomads

But nomads know what to take with them

We are inexperienced nomads

The nature of nomadic life

So we lived in very difficult places

I mean, she lived with me in caves, and in chicken coops too

And she lived with me in difficult places

And she lived with me in good places too, at the same time

Depending on the work situation

I tried many times to get her to leave for a safer place with the children

But she always refused

And she remained steadfast, to say the least.

She'd say, 'I'll meet you with a smile, I'll be by your side.'

Despite the circumstances we've been through over the past 14 years.

It was very harsh, indeed.
