Iran's Defense Industry Advancements

This is one of dozens of underground defense industry production lines

in the country.

A place where a major part of what is seen on the ground is made.

On Defense Industry Day, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed

Forces and the acting Defense Minister paid a surprise visit

to this facility for the first time.

"Our dear friends at the Ministry of Defense

have done great work, and when one

enters here, one sees nothing

but hard work and, alongside it,

a passion for progress.

Major General Abdollahi spoke of the speed and quality of defense industry

output over the past year, progress that he described as

astonishing across various dimensions.

"By God's grace, through the dedication of the staff and

the ministry's senior leadership,

they have managed, far better than before,

to produce equipment that not only

possesses better capabilities and

boasts high quality, but in terms of

quantity, they have also been able to bring

far more of it into production.

A clear example of this is the production during the Second

and Third Sacred Defenses."

And of course, the IRGC's Nasr and the Army's Saeqeh operations were seen.

For instance, the tripling of suicide drone production since the beginning of

the 40-day Sacred Defense.

Iran's defense industry products have various dimensions, including

the manufacturing of satellites and satellite

launch vehicles,

cruise and ballistic missiles,

and various types of drones.

The Shahed 136, a drone that, due to its aerodynamic

design and body material, is radar-evading.

It was used in Operations True Promise One, Two, and

Three, where this drone successfully bypassed

the Zionist regime's multi-layered defense systems and reached

its targets in the occupied territories,

all the way to weapons and military equipment, which are a small part of the products of this

industry.

What is seen on the field today is the result of years of development in these very production lines

and research centers, such that Iran is now among the top ten

missile powers and the sixth drone power in the world.

This is while 90 percent of Iran's defense industry before the revolution

was imported.

Before the revolution, we had 31 types of manufactured products

in Iran's defense industry, which were very

simple items. For example, the G3 rifle—even that

was assembled, meaning not 100% domestically made.

But now, over 1,000 types of advanced

systems and, in fact, weapons and ammunition,

highly upgraded and not at all comparable to before the Islamic

Revolution, are made in Iran by young

Iranians, by Iranian industrialists, and

in competition with powers possessing

an advanced defense industry.

During this visit, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces also sent a message to

the enemies of the Iranian nation:

"The enemy must also know that they cannot

really fight the will of a nation."
