A Pasdar means a soldier of the Guardianship, a devotee of the nation, God-believing

and loving God, and taking responsibilities very seriously, a Pasdar

is the main pillar of the Islamic Revolution, the ultimate in self-sacrifice,

selflessness, the highest level of devotion, a complete embodiment of sincerity,

sacrifice, and giving one’s life for the nation, the Islamic Revolution, and the

Islamic system. We extend a warm welcome

to each and every one of my dear brothers from the Army of the

Islamic Republic who honored us with their presence. We cherish the memory of all

the martyrs, especially the dear martyrs who were present in this same

gathering last year, Martyr Zahedi, Martyr

Haj Rahimi, we honor the memory of all of them. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps

is the result of the spirit and sacred breath of the Imam.

It has fulfilled its mission well in guarding the

Islamic Revolution and the national security of the country, of the great nation of Iran,

up to today. We hope that God,

just as from the beginning He granted them success so that, in the direction of

guarding the sacred system of the Islamic Republic, day and night

try to protect this revolution from the harm of the enemies’ conspiracies

to keep it safe, from now on too, with the same intensity and with the same goal

they had, they should pursue it, so that God willing this revolution

will not be harmed, and God willing it will not be harmed. Unity,

empathy, and cohesion of all of us, we are aware of this role and we

consider it a fundamental necessity for preserving our country’s national security,

for preserving the achievements of the Islamic Revolution, for preserving

the territorial integrity of our country, for preserving the independence of our country,

we know this. Well, we have one common commander, His Eminence

the Leader is our commander. So therefore, the Army and the IRGC are

one single hand. So therefore, it can be said that all of us

are soldiers of the revolution, all of us are soldiers of His Eminence

the Leader. So this unity has always been cohesive, and it

will remain so. Both in suppressing the unrest in Kurdistan, in Turkmen

Sahra, in Sistan and Baluchestan, and after that in the eight years of

the Sacred Defense.
