Ukraine's Role in European Security

except the word "helps" in Navrodsky's rhetoric should be replaced with the word "earns".

Otherwise, everything is correct.

So, regarding Navrodsky's rhetoric, you know,

he said here, it seems to me,

honestly, about how it benefits the Poles

for Ukraine to weaken Russia for as long as possible

and fight it on its own territory,

because then Russia won't come to Poland.

But he manipulated the idea here that those whom we help,

we should also demand from.

No, my friends, the only one helping here and protecting all of Europe,

and making sure your husbands don't go tomorrow

giving their lives to defend Polish territory,

so that Russia doesn't come to Warsaw, to Krakow,

so that Russia stays in its swamps,

the only one helping is Ukraine.

And there is no need to manipulate facts here.

You must respect Ukrainians.

And this is the demand of Ukrainians.

There is no talk of unreciprocated help here,

or, let's say, some kind of philanthropic aid.

Ukrainians are laying down their lives so that you can live in peace.

That's it. No amount of money can buy this.

No amount of aid, no equipment, no ammunition,

nothing can buy this. Nothing.

So, the point is,

that you can now demand something from Ukrainians—

no, it doesn't work that way, that's out of the question.

The only thing you can do is stand shoulder to shoulder with Ukrainians,

and then we can speak as equals.
