Analysis of Regional Conflicts and Threats

I think this problem remains unsolved and unaddressed.

And in this connection,

of course, including because of this, we are facing,

of course, major wars

in the south of the country,

and then we face a very major, dire— an extremely grave,

in my view, war with Ukraine and a most grave conflict,

possibly with Kazakhstan.

I am not even talking about China's expansion.

This is a quasi-severe problem.

I see nothing in any modern political or economic

actions of the state that would suggest that

anyone is thinking about the future looming

most grave conflicts.

I do not see the Caucasus problem being addressed,

and every year it will become more, more and more acute.

An internal humanitarian crisis is brewing in the Caucasus in relations with Russians

and with Russia.

New documents constantly appear,

New, so to speak, some kind of new awareness among people.

Russia's position and conduct were utterly senseless

in the Caucasian wars, the extermination

by our sovereign and our army,

which was blessed

by Orthodox priests, of hundreds of thousands of people

from indigenous ethnic groups. There are some peoples whose—

victims number three hundred, four hundred thousand.

That is the price of expansion in the Caucasus. Do you understand?

It is impossible to forget, to erase this.

It is impossible, if only because there are detailed descriptions

in the solemn reports of our military, our

commanders, who proudly reported to the emperor

on their

military achievements.

In the end, we find ourselves on all sides in a conflict zone.

We understand perfectly well that relations with Europe will not improve, that

The North Atlantic bloc will keep advancing.

The response to these actions will be entirely adequate and understandable.

And there are also unresolved issues in what is called the country's underbelly,

there, where the south is, and farther, farther, farther. They, of course,

pose an enormous threat to the fate

of our state and

our lives. It's like a snowball, there could be a collapse,

it could happen at any moment: in a year, in two years,

in three years. We have no internal problems

like that, simply put, all these problems we have are colossal,

I would call them, well, large-scale problems,

they are not being understood at all, and no decisions, it seems to me, though I may be wrong,

are being made.

And all this is already on the doorstep, it is all close to everyone
