And in the end times — take heed of this: in the last days sudden deaths become more frequent. You may be in good health, in strength, in youth, and then die suddenly.

Either in a car accident, or from a heart attack, or for any sudden reason — and these are many, as you watch and hear this.

So we must increase repentance and seeking forgiveness, and not forget the Hereafter, not forget death, and not forget the Reckoning.

Then on the Day of Resurrection there will be scales — balances in which deeds are weighed. If his scales are heavy with good deeds, then those are the successful.

And if his scales are light, his bad deeds outweigh his good ones — those are the ones who have lost themselves; they will be in Hell, abiding.

They did not lose their wealth; they lost themselves. Their recompense in Hell — not for a day or two, but they will remain, remain forever and ever. There is no power nor strength except with Allah.
