Violent Arrest and Death in Iran

On January 9, he is shot in the leg.

They take him to the hospital. But fearing he would be arrested again,

he checks himself out, gets himself home,

and tries to stop the bleeding at home.

But on January 11, IRGC forces

and officers raid their home.

They block both ends of the alley so he can't escape.

Though he is wounded, they enter their home without any warrant, without

anything. They tie his hands

and bring him out into the street. After they had arrested him

and tied his hands, according to information received by Iran

International, he continued to resist, chanting slogans against Khamenei

and the Islamic Republic. Right there in the street, before the eyes of

the neighbors, his mother, and his seven-

year-old nephew, they shoot him in the head and stomach.

They were unable to hold a ceremony at his grave

during the burial. His mother, at the very
