I, C. Joseph Vijay,

do hereby swear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India,

and that I will uphold unwavering loyalty to it,

that I will uphold the unmatched sovereignty and

unity of the nation of India,

that as the Chief Minister of the Government of Tamil Nadu,

I will discharge my duties truthfully and in good conscience,

that in accordance with the Constitution and the law, without fear or favor,

setting aside likes and dislikes, towards people of every kind,

I will do what is just and right, I take this oath, calling upon God as

my witness.

I, C. Joseph Vijay,

in my capacity as the Chief Minister of the Government of Tamil Nadu,

any matter that comes to my notice or knowledge, except so far as may

be required for the due discharge of my duties as Chief Minister, I shall not,

directly or indirectly, to any one person or to many people…

I will neither inform nor disclose and I swear an oath,

invoking the Lord.
