I think free speech is hanging by a thread globally, and that thread is Elon Musk.
I mean, we've I mean, literally, that's it.
And you can I mean, I would praise Mark Zuckerberg when he moved away from their
censorship system to a system more like Elon's.
But what's happening on X right now, the in the change of consciousness and the way
that he's changed the algorithms, you know, to allow for, you know, much more diversity.
And let's be honest, a lot more right wing content than anybody had even been aware
existed. I mean, I wasn't even aware that this quantity of right wing content was
possible until you start to see it.
And very politically, very, you know, controversial things around race are being
talked about, about migration.
Part of me wonders how long it'll last.
Like, I just kind of go, it's such an extremely unusual moment to have this level
of free speech on a platform.
We've never seen anything like it.
We've really not seen anything like that level of free speech since I think before,
you know, but before the before the beginning of the 20th century, you know, really
after the revolution up until, you know, World War One, you had pretty high levels of
free speech. You couldn't really control it because it was printing presses.
What's happening now is absolutely extraordinary.
So I think, you know, the establishment, they're desperate to either shut it down or
censor it. Elon himself said the other day very accurately.
And we've been saying something similar is that they're just looking for justifications
to censor. So, yeah, so and we should respond to everything that they say.
But we should be aware that if one thing goes down, they're going to be looking for
something else. It is a it is a central priority for the left, I would say.
And it's not to say that there's some people on the right.
There was still some bad behavior after the Charlie Kirk thing, demanding censorship.
But really, though, it's the left parties and the parties that they're in alliance with,
like this, you know, like the chancellor of Germany, they're out to find stuff to take it
down.
