Yemeni Armed Forces Statement on Siege

A statement issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The Almighty said: "And whoever avenges himself after having been wronged—those have not upon them any cause." Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

The criminal Saudi enemy continues its unjust and brutal siege on our beloved people,

for nearly 12 years of plundering wealth and a comprehensive siege on ports and airports,

by land, sea, and air, which has exacerbated the suffering of our great people,

until the situation reached an unbearable level, without any right or justification,

and this is something that cannot be accepted or tolerated in silence,

because it is not based on any right, or legal or humanitarian justification,

and it has no legitimacy; it is an invalid and aggressive siege,

and its results are catastrophic for the suffering of our beloved Yemeni people,

along with its initiation of aggression against our country,

by targeting Sana'a International Airport in an unjust and treacherous aggression.

Our people cannot suffer from the unjust siege

and be attacked without taking a stand.

For our great people are a faithful, striving people,

the people of faith and wisdom,

and the holders of a just cause.

And it has the full right to confront this siege and unjust aggression

by all available means.

Accordingly, and in response to the calls of our dear, struggling people

in their great million-man march

on the Friday of Warning and Mobilization,

and the large tribal gatherings and rallies that preceded it,

the Yemeni Armed Forces assert the following:

First: The Yemeni Armed Forces declare a ban on maritime navigation for the criminal Saudi enemy,

in accordance with the equation of "siege for siege,"

which will take effect from the moment this statement is announced.

Second: We reaffirm the right of our great people

to confront siege with siege

and comprehensive escalation with comprehensive escalation,

and to establish this equation.

Third: The Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirm

their full readiness for all options,

and that any foolishness committed by the reckless Saudi enemy

through comprehensive escalation

will be met with a comprehensive and harsh escalation, by God's will and strength.

Fourth: We call upon the sons of our great people

to continue the general mobilization

and full readiness for all scenarios and developments.

And supporting the fronts with fighters

Fifth, we salute with pride and reverence

the children of our great Yemeni people

who marched in the million-man rally of warning and mobilization

in an unprecedented manner

and we assure them that we will spare no effort to reclaim their plundered rights

and to end the unjust blockade on them

regardless of the consequences and repercussions

seeking help in that from Allah

and relying upon Him

Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs

the best Patron and the best Helper

Long live Yemen, free, proud, and independent

And victory to Yemen and to all the free people of the nation
