Corruption Allegations Against MP Chief Minister

So, what is the difference between the corruption of BJP and Congress?

Both have the skin of a politician, but Congress's corruption used to get exposed,

while BJP's has been accepted.

The Indian Express has exposed Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav,

whose family bought more

than half the property there even before Ujjain developed. Mohan Yadav is an

MLA from Ujjain itself and has been a BJP leader from there for a long time.

Recently, he was elected as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh,

and under him was created the Ujjain Master Plan 2035. Meaning, in the coming times,

they had to expand the city of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. Just like UP created Noida,

Haryana created Gurugram, and Gujarat created Gandhinagar,

similarly, Ujjain was supposed to be the industrial city of Madhya Pradesh.

For that, massive infrastructure projects were to come there,

and investments were to be made.

And all of this was known to the Chief Minister there, Mohan Yadav.

Because before that,

he was the chairman of the Ujjain Development Authority, an MLA there,

and also handled MP Tourism,

He is a long- time politician and now he was the Chief Minister,

so he knew everything. Now, it could be a coincidence that his family bought

properties worth crores in Ujjain in the past year. In the last 12 years,

the family had bought about 80 acres of property in real estate,

but in the past year, they bought nearly 168 acres of property, 137 plots,

some of which have even been sold. And all these properties

were bought in prime locations according to the Ujjain Master Plan.

Some from agricultural to commercial property, some residential property,

some townships,

places where there were fields earlier but highways were to be built in the future,

Government and private investment was supposed to come there,

absolutely prime locations. Hundreds of acres of land, worth lakhs today,

which would be worth crores tomorrow, and billions later, was bought by his family.

And when we say family, there is an Express investigation on the entire front page,

everyone is involved. His wife, his son, his daughter- in- law, his brother,

their wife, uncle, nephew, from close to extended family,

everyone's name has come up. And all this government

data has been extracted from Madhya Pradesh land records by The Indian Express.

Who bought how much land and where in the names of his family members,

everything has been brought to light.

The Chief Minister is also a government employee, so, using a government post,

if a government employee's family manipulates property on such a large scale,

isn't this a conflict of interest?
