Kurdish Rights and Political Process

As a Kurd, the issue that concerns me is this.

Now, uh, there is currently a certain process

underway. A process involving Bahçeli, Erdoğan, and Abdullah Öcalan

is underway. We support this process. And this process…

I mean, Kurds no longer know those old days.

I mean, we'll do this, we'll deceive them and so on.

We'll do it this way, then at some point we'll end it.

That's not how it is.

There should be no such attempt. I mean, if anyone has something like that

in mind,

they should get it out of their head. Kurds are no longer the Kurds of old.

Kurds have become conscious, have kept up with the world,

and Kurds now know who is doing what and what they are trying to

achieve. Kurds have also paid a price for defending their own rights.

They will continue to pay a price as well.

I mean, this place

is geographically Kurdistan. And we are Kurds.

We will pursue the cause we’re right about to the very end.

So, these processes, let’s say tomorrow the PKK is

somehow dissolved, you know, something happens.

The Kurds’ rights are not granted. That is, the Kurdish

reality here, the Kurdish reality must be acknowledged.

I mean, we...

I mean, there is a process, the Kurdish people support it.

But this, this must continue and be put

on the right footing, and

an environment must be created where everyone will be happy and free,

and it must be guaranteed in a constitution.

Otherwise, no matter what, the Kurds too...
