Debate on Employment and E-Rickshaws

I heard this statement by Yogi Adityanath.

Keep counting, we'll keep handing out jobs. You'll get tired of counting.

We won't get tired of giving jobs to Uttar Pradesh's youth.

After hearing this statement, I immediately rushed out, lest a pile of jobs build up

before I got there. But I was rushing to get a job

when I heard this statement by the deputy chief minister.

Don't get caught up in jobs. Drive yours for four hours. Spend the afternoon with your wife and children, brother.

If you take a job, will you get to sit with your children? Not a chance, tell me. Look how nice it is for people at home

to spend two hours with their children, sleep, eat, relax, then head out until 10:00 a.m.

And I found out that the fight was never really about jobs. It was about driving an e-rickshaw

because it makes you self-reliant. But then I found out

Neither his children drive rickshaws in his family, nor does anyone in his family

drive a rickshaw. That is, everyone in his family is unemployed.

The deputy CM himself has a five-year government job, which he has to seek votes every five years to retain.

What use is such a job?

He should drive a rickshaw too. That would make him self-reliant, and he would not have to

fold his hands before anyone to ask for votes. Whenever he feels like it, he can take out a rickshaw in the morning,

head out and earn money all day. 1,500 to 2,000 rupees comes in just like that.

After this kind of statement, when e-rickshaw drivers were asked,

they themselves said, "We want to give Keshav Prasad our e-rickshaw."

"We want to give Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak our e-rickshaw. We want to give Chief Minister Yogi"

They want to give Adityanath their rickshaw so he can drive it and see how much is actually

earned from it.

Forget your preparations. Drive a good rickshaw. There is good money in it. It's a really good rickshaw. Drive it yourself.

Come on, drive it yourself. Drive it yourself. No, no, tell him to drive it himself. Drive a rickshaw. Earn good money.

What do you need a politician for?

In this country, the Prime Minister tells students to sell pakoras. The Deputy Chief Minister says

to drive rickshaws, and when you go looking for a job, you get beaten with batons. In the name of employment,

this government mocks young people and leaks exam papers. But

instead of giving even one job, it is telling the country's youth to drive e-rickshaws.

But it does not give that same advice to its own children.

This is the government's double standard. I request you to tag Brijesh

Pathak Ji and request that he drive an e-rickshaw for two days

so he understands that driving an e-rickshaw is not employment, but a compulsion

is.
