Critique of City Improvements for Presidential Visit

I want to share my unpopular opinion.

Today, the president came to Novosibirsk to see us,

President Vladimir Vladimirovich.

So,

am I the only one who doesn't understand why they need to make

the city seem better than it really is?

They paved every road he's going to drive on,

the roads he isn't driving on.

They fixed up every building façade he's going to visit,

they even fixed up

gas prices. In other words, they showed him something that we actually

don't have.

Why? I don't understand. What for? Fuck, then it won't get any better.

He doesn't know how we really live.

In other words, he sees some kind of tip of the iceberg—not even the tip,

it's not the real

tip, it's this iceberg tip covered with some kind of, uh,

very beautiful façade.

And he simply has no idea that we have no roads in Novosibirsk,

I guess everyone knows this already, just everyone.

That we, um,

basically have problems in the city, you know?

We practically have no parks. All the parks that are being built are built by developers,

but

never by the city.

We don't have any renovated building facades, especially, well,

in the city center, that's especially

noticeable. Well, overall, the city has potential, but

it basically has no one to take care of it. It's like an untidy apartment, so to speak.

Why the fuck are you showing that everything's fucking great here?

Why? I'm the only one—just explain to me, what is this being done for?
