Concerns About Education at Harvard
Não dá para dizer não.
Para Harvard?
É.
Bem, eu e a mamãe podemos dizer não.
Para nós, o catolicismo é tudo. É a
todas essas coisas me deixa preocupado.
ensinando-lhes autodefesa intelectual.
Eles recorrem a documentos primários desde o ensino fundamental,
observacional.
praticar a observação
e o discernimento.
COVID. Eles foram treinados para acreditar
que a verdade vem da autoridade,
e agora têm a autoridade do diário do Dr. Fauci.
ajudar as famílias. Conheça minha comunidade privada de educação domiciliar.

Can't say no. To Harvard? Yeah. Well, me and mom can say no. Catholicism to us is everything. It's the
basis of our marriage, it's the basis of our family. So I'm nervous about the idea of Paloma going to Harvard. We spend a lot of time nurturing and providing formation for our kids, giving them an environment where they
are steeped in faith and values. And so the idea of dropping her off at a place that would undermine that or try to undo all those things makes me worried. And again, I don't want them to get one viewpoint. I want them to get a lot of different viewpoints, but I don't want them fed only
one viewpoint that's contrary to the way my kids were raised. Besides, my, my problem is we have thought about how we raised you and how hard we've worked to, I think, raise what is a remarkable young girl.
If I send you there, I think what happens is they have professionalized figuring out how they can take good young girls like you, and I think corrupt their minds. There are a lot of parents that feel this way,
and not only about Harvard, but a lot of America's institutions, and they're not wrong. A survey of Harvard professors found that only 9% of the staff identified as conservative, and this is generally true of all of academia, which
has pretty much became Marxist. It's why the overwhelming majority of young people graduate high school and college as leftist, and then through life experience, they become more right-wing. And whether you think that's right or wrong, it's the reality of what
actually happens. But what I tell parents is you don't have to fear your kids going to Harvard or college and becoming indoctrinated if you prepare them right, and you can do that by teaching them intellectual self-defense.
So you start by giving them a classical education, which breaks learning down into three phases, but focuses on the process of how to think critically. And whereas public school students have basically only learned a fake story about the Native Americans, and that early Americans were
bad because of slavery, by fifth grade, a classically educated student has already studied Mesopotamia, Greece, Rome, the Middle Ages, the Vikings, the Renaissance, and early America. So by the time they get to middle school, let alone college, they
have the full context of 6,000 years of slavery and understand the political climate surrounding Native Americans in early America. Your kids know the logical fallacies and how to identify common manipulations made within arguments.
They've been getting back to primary documents since elementary school, and they have experience discerning the world around them. The next thing you want to give them is observational confidence. So from an early age, rather than telling them what the world
is, you want to get your children out into nature and let them practice observing and discerning. Let them ask questions and learn, the same way Leonardo da Vinci would have learned about the world.
Then you want them doing a lot of open-ended STEM problems so that they're problem-solving. So you tell them, "We're going to throw this egg up into the air, and you have to make something that protects it well enough so that it doesn't break." And science can't just be theory.
You have to teach them the science of engineering and have them building things from a young age. And they should develop a relationship with the scientific method so that they have practice in testing things for themselves rather than blindly following authority.
It's why the Harvard types in academia fell so hard for COVID. They've been trained to believe that truth comes from authority, and now they have the authority of Dr. Fauci's diary. But an 18-year-old who has been studying propaganda from COVID
to the Bolshevik Revolution simply isn't going to be as easily manipulated as a Harvard professor. And last, but certainly not least, is to give your child a moral foundation. So starting in kindergarten, our students study the history of the Bible, and we run
classes on topics like the archaeology of the Bible, because there's nothing more important than giving your kids a solid foundation. And any parent who does these things will have raised an 18-year-old that is perfectly capable of handling
themselves at Harvard, and that is what I love to help families with. Check out my private homeschool community. And cubs to bears... books. ClassicalLearner.com.
