Good evening.

On the thirteenth day of Operation Lion’s Roar,

the IDF continues to operate against the Iranian terror regime with full force,

striking enemy strongholds.

In Iran, we continue to attack targets belonging to the government and the regime,

as part of the second phase of the plan to eliminate the existential threat to the

State of Israel.

Dozens of fighter jets of the Air Force carried out several additional strikes in

raids on the Tehran area and western Iran,

against infrastructure belonging to the Iranian terror regime.

The Air Force struck the Taleqan site,

a central site for developing capabilities related to nuclear weapons.

In recent years,

the site has been used to develop advanced explosive materials,

and it constituted a vital

part of the secret program to develop a nuclear weapon under Project Amad.

This attack is part of the major,

ongoing effort to undermine the regime’s capability and cripple the essential

components needed to obtain a dangerous nuclear weapon.

In addition,

several regime infrastructures were targeted, including:

command headquarters and operations rooms that were used by the air force of the

Revolutionary Guard,

and sites for storing and producing ballistic missiles ready for launch,

as well as command headquarters and

bases of the internal security forces and the Basij,

in addition to an intelligence headquarters belonging to the Iranian ministry.

During the raids,

the air force detected operatives belonging

to the Iranian terror regime working inside a command headquarters in

central Tehran. Just a few seconds later, the fighter jets attacked and

eliminated these operatives. We constantly monitor the activities of the

terror regime and work to thwart them. In Lebanon, Hezbollah made a

grave mistake for the second time in this battle. It erred once when it

chose to join the battle as the protector of the Iranian regime,

and it erred a second time last night when it announced an escalation in

its criminal operations.

Without taking into account the consequences of the fatal mistake he committed.

While the southern suburb is still burning,

Hezbollah decided to carry out a launch operation,

firing hundreds of rockets toward the State of Israel.

As part of this launch operation,

it fired about two hundred rockets, most of which were intercepted or fell in

open areas. In response to this criminal attack carried out by Hezbollah,

the IDF launched strikes with unprecedented force,

bringing down about twenty buildings in the southern suburb.

This number is in addition

to about one hundred buildings and other terrorist targets that were struck

in the southern suburb over the last few days,

along with hundreds of targets throughout Lebanon and especially in Beirut.

Hezbollah, which calls itself the so- called“ resistance,”

brings nothing but destruction to Lebanon.

It does not care at all about the Lebanese state,

and certainly does not care about Lebanese citizens,

since about forty percent of the shells it fired yesterday fell inside

Lebanese territory.

And this is further proof of Hezbollah’s willingness to sell out the

Lebanese people it claims to protect,

for the sake of the Iranian terror regime. And this week we

saw senior Quds Force commanders,

in the so- called Lebanon and Palestine branch,

hiding in luxury hotels in Beirut, where they were eliminated.

They were not there for a vacation, they came to monitor the

organization that operates by proxy and that they fund inside Lebanon.

That organization that arose with claims of defending Lebanon,

operates on assignment from the Iranian terror regime and with full

funding from it. The IDF and the State of Israel will continue to work to achieve

the objectives of the operation and remove the existential threat to Israel.
