Ethiopian Music Lyrics Analysis

Peace is the foundation for a stable future.

Without it, neither our country nor our people can prosper.

Dialogue and reconciliation are the basis of agreement.

They strengthen the process.

The way forward is to resolve differences.

Violence has no place. Political disputes must be settled peacefully.

Dialogue and the law must guide the process.

It takes human lives and drains public resources.

It creates fear. Peace must be protected.

Respecting the rights of all citizens is the government's duty.

Maintaining peace is not the government's responsibility alone.

It cannot be ensured without the participation of the whole society.

For example, the Gadaa elders and the Siinqee institution...

the elders of the country and women have played their part.

Scholars and all sections of society must also take part.

They have a role to play. The government must act.

It must protect everyone's rights so that peace can prevail.

It is not merely peace of mind.

It is the foundation of stability and agreement.

It must be built. Therefore, peace within government...

is the basis for development and security.

All institutions must strengthen the law and social agreement.

They must work together with determination.
