Delhi Police AI Technology Controversy

Delhi Police, which works under Amit Shah's Home Ministry,

and its cutting-edge AI technology have been exposed

its Facial Recognition System, or

FRS technology, identified 2,873

people with criminal records. But

had listed at least 25 people who, at that

time, were locked up in Tihar, Mandoli and Rohini jails

when FRS cameras spotted them in the crowd at Jantar Mantar.

Yogesh, who was already imprisoned in Tihar Jail,

was also caught by Delhi Police’s AI cameras at Jantar Mantar

while wandering around. Now the question is, whether

the Delhi Police, which comes under the Home Ministry,

is presenting fake statistics in the name of technology

or whether, as part of a major conspiracy, ordinary

protests and movements are being discredited in this way.
