Graduation of Female Religious Students in Kabul

650 girls from a religious school in Kabul

have graduated.

Although they are pleased to have acquired religious education and

graduated from this field, they are concerned about what they view

as the continued closure of schools and universities

to girls.

Other female graduates are asking the Islamic Emirate

to also provide opportunities for modern education

for them. Sayed Deeni says that these girls

have been trained in Tajweed and Quran memorization.

"A total of 650 of our students are graduating today,

of whom 54 are from

the Quran memorization section, and 86

from the advanced course, namely Islamic texts, translation, and Tafsir,

and the rest are from Nazirah, Quran reading, and

similar sections."
