In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, praise be to Allah,

and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah.

There is no doubt that our soldiers stationed on the borders— may Allah grant them

success— are carrying

out a great deed of jihad in the path of Allah and sacrificing themselves

and their time to protect Islam and the Muslims, after Allah,

Glorified and Exalted be He,

and they expose themselves to danger.

So we ask Allah to aid them and grant them success and right guidance,

and to support them with His victory, His success, and His help.

They are engaged in a great deed,

and they are in a state of ribat in the path of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.

And in the hadith:“ Guarding for a day and a night is better

than the world and everything in it.”

So let them make their intention purely for Allah,

Glorified and Exalted be He, in this work of theirs,

for it is among the best of deeds,

if it is not the very best of deeds.

We ask Allah to aid them and grant them success, and right guidance,

and to heal their wounded, have mercy on their dead,

and help their living to carry out

and continue

in what they are engaged in of this ribat and jihad in the path of Allah.

And we congratulate them on this stance and this work,

and we pray to Allah to aid them and accept from them. And may Allah’s blessings

and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his family and companions.
