My name is Rebecca Gale here. I just wanted to show you something. Sorry about the noise, I am on Avon Road.
I just want to say, where on earth in the UK would you be able to have your shop completely shut for the whole night,
but yet have all of your stock outside and not even chained up?
And it's not just this furniture shop either. This furniture shop has got all of its stock outside, it's not chained up.
If you walk down the road a bit more, there will be fruit stalls, fruit and veg like Manarbs, which is like greengrocers,
and they have all of their fruit and veg still outside, and all they put over it is like a plastic sheet.
Does anyone steal it? No, because Turkey is much safer than anywhere in the UK.
In the UK, you'd have a couple of lorries down here by now, well in the middle of the night,
packing all this shit up and sticking it on Facebook Marketplace to sell, because it is ridiculous in the UK.
Everyone is out to get something, whereas in Turkey, you can have all of your furniture laying around outside, all of your stock.
I drove past the pharmacy a couple of days ago, and they'd left the pharmacy's medical stuff delivery outside the door.
It was two hours before the shop was due to open. Did anyone go and steal that? No.
But in London, you'd have some crackhead trying to get that, wouldn't you?
It is absolutely so safe. It is currently 8am in the morning, and everywhere is shut, but yet everyone's stock is out on show,
and there is not one single person attempting to steal it.
Come to Turkey, much safer than the UK.
Here's another shop. That's all that's stopping the stock from being taken.
