Critique of Wahhabism in Islam

Why are they afraid of Wahhabism? Let's hear it.

A revolutionary cry

against Wahhabism.

I have spent more than forty years in religious outreach, and I have been calling on

people and warning them of this ideology because of its danger.

As for the Wahhabis, or those claiming to be Salafis, we cannot call them

Salaf, because the true Salaf are the people of the first three hundred years,

whereas these people claim to follow the Salaf, and the Salaf are innocent

of them.

Wahhabism is at enmity with the Prophet.

Why? Because they say he started the hostility.

They are talking about the Prophet.

No matter how their schools and orientations differ, they agree on attacking

one group: the Salafi Wahhabis, the People of the Sunnah and the Community.

Labels do not matter to us, the substance does. But why? I will

tell you why.

Perhaps because they do not invoke the dead or seek aid from the absent,

in accordance with God Almighty’s words: “And who is more astray than one who calls upon

besides God those who will not answer him until the Day of Resurrection, while they are unaware of

"They are unaware of their supplication." Maybe because they do not seek blessings at graves

and shrines and sacred sites, and they know that blessing is an act of worship

and that you should not ask anyone but God. Maybe because they affirm the exaltedness of

the Most Merciful and do not say that God exists nowhere. It is not strange

for them that Imam Malik previously said: "God is in heaven

and His knowledge is everywhere." And what does Imam Abu Hanifa say:

"Whoever says, 'I do not know whether my Lord is in heaven or on earth,' has disbelieved, because God, Mighty

and Majestic, says, 'The Most Merciful established Himself over the Throne.'" And this is Ahmad

and what does al-Shafi'i say? Al-Shafi'i says: "The position I hold, the position

I hold regarding the Sunnah, and that I saw our companions adhere to, is that God, Mighty and Majestic,

is above His Throne in His heaven, drawing near to

His creation however He wills." Maybe because they honor the Sunnah and do not innovate in

religion and do not say that there is a good innovation and a bad innovation in religion.

And this is not strange for them. What did Imam Malik say? "Whoever introduces into

Islam an innovation he considers good has claimed that Muhammad

betrayed the message." Do you know why they fear the Wahhabis?
